Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will support the financial close processes for Cushman & Wakefield’s largest and most profitable region, owning contract review preparation and contributing to the overall financial reporting and compliance processes.

• Support financial close processes for the US region.
• Own contract review preparation for NonBrokerage service lines.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries.
• Research and resolve accounting/financial questions.
• Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are effective.
• Utilize financial reporting tools to improve efficiency.
• Act as an ambassador for the company culture.
• Assist with accounting for acquisitions.
• Contribute to public company readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years in accounting roles, preferably with financial close experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP’s and database software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-directed and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: CPA and real estate industry experience.
