Training Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Training Support Specialist will facilitate virtual training and Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) for the Commander Navy Installations Command, supporting training delivery to first responders and leadership across multiple regions.

In Short

• Support curricula management and exercise coordination.
• Deliver virtual training courses and manage course material.
• Provide decision-level briefings to senior leadership.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in emergency management training.
• Coordinate training exercises and drills.
• Manage training documentation and training databases.
• Conduct analysis and develop training solutions.
• Assist with administrative duties and deliver training materials.
• Participate in teleconferences and SOTG meetings.
• Prepare for potential deployment in support of Navy disaster responses.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10 years of relevant experience in Emergency Management.
• 5 years of Navy training and exercise planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of adult education principles.
• Valid United States Passport required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to brief senior staff effectively.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35-40%.
• Must reside within 50 miles of an airport.
