Incident Response Analyst (Remote)

Overview

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. They are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Incident Response Analyst to support the Incident Response lifecycle.

In Short

• Support the Incident Response lifecycle via triage and investigation of detections.
• Take action as appropriate (e.g. live response, containment, escalation).
• Develop detection criteria across various technologies.
• Identify coverage and efficiency gaps in data and tooling.
• Provide information security reporting including security metrics.
• Participate in incident response and manage escalations.
• Drive efficient process development and documentation.
• Available for after-hours support on-demand.
• Must be a current Active Duty Service Member.
• This role is only open to US citizens and Green Card holders.

Requirements

• Experience responding to security events.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and application layers.
• Experience with log analysis and SIEM workflows.
• Strong project management skills.
• Desire to grow both technical and soft skills.
• Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision.
• Must meet DoD SkillBridge qualifications.
• Education in information security, information systems, or computer science preferred.
• Applicable security certifications are a plus.
