Overview

The role of the Global Paralegal at Pleasant Law, PLLC is critical in maintaining case flow and supporting our mission to deliver justice for vulnerable clients. This position was created to alleviate the administrative burden on our attorneys, enabling them to focus on advocating for our clients.

In Short

• Track each case from sign-up through litigation to resolution.
• Oversee discovery and filing deadlines.
• Coordinate the ordering and tracking of medical records.
• Handle the organization and preparation of legal documents.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients.
• Organize depositions and court proceedings.
• Assist attorneys with discovery responses and evidence gathering.
• Hold the attorney accountable by following up on deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in personal injury law.
• Strong task management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to independently move cases forward.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Comfortable and experienced working in a remote setting.
• Technical proficiency with tools like Google Workspace.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
