Overview

As a Staff Accountant at Creative Chaos, you will play a crucial role in our finance team by performing various accounting and financial tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the overall financial management of the company.

• Accurately record day-to-day banking and credit card transactions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Record bills and invoices for accounts payable and receivable.
• Enter general journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements.
• Record month-end accruals.
• Assist in payroll processing.
• Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules.
• Maintain a fixed assets register.
• Reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
• Generate 1099 data for review.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
