Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor will inspect medical coding documents for errors and ensure compliance with various regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Coding certifications (AAPC or AHIMA) required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in professional coding audits.
• Strong knowledge of coding disciplines and professional provider education.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and billing methodologies.
• Knowledge of coding guidelines for ICD-10, CPT, HCPC, E/M.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer coding regulations.
• Ability to perform high-quality coding audits.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
