Overview

CPA Medical Billing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring healthcare providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with payers, supporting compliance and uninterrupted revenue cycle operations.

In Short

• Verify provider licenses, certifications, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain and update CAQH profiles
• Submit payer enrollment applications within established timelines
• Follow up with payers regularly until approval is obtained
• Track application status and provider data using credentialing software
• Monitor license expirations and ensure timely renewals
• Research and resolve credentialing and enrollment issues as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of credentialing experience
• Strong understanding of provider enrollment and payer processes
• Experience with CAQH and credentialing systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
