Junior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the accounting team in handling daily operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

In Short

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry and general ledger support
• Conduct bank and card reconciliations; ensure timely and complete collection follow-up
• Prepare commercial invoices and follow up on payments from clients
• Manage and issue VAT invoices in accordance with local regulations
• Accurately calculate and submit VAT, CIT, PIT, and other applicable taxes
• Ensure timely compliance with accounting standards and Vietnamese financial regulations
• Assist in audit preparation and support tax filing processes
• Provide support on other assignments and ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
• Familiarity with audit processes and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
• Good command of English is required
