Junior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Sword Health is on a mission to free two billion people from pain. As a Junior Accountant, you will support mid-level accounting management to ensure daily tasks are up-to-date and assist with various accounting responsibilities.

In Short

• Support daily accounting tasks and management.
• Integrate AP Invoices and confirm budget compliance.
• Assist with bank postings and reconciliations.
• Support revenue accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain statutory documentation physically and virtually.
• Document accounting processes and identify discrepancies.
• Perform aging analysis and reconcile open items.
• Build ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the operations team for accurate information.
• Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of SNC (Sistema de Normalização Contabilística).
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written & spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset and resilience.
