Health Insurance Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

The Health Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a critical role in shaping and building CoverGo’s health insurance product capabilities, ensuring features are accurate, compliant, competitive, and aligned with real-world insurance operations.

In Short

• Support the product team throughout the feature development lifecycle.
• Translate end-to-end health insurance processes into clear product requirements.
• Conduct competitor and market research.
• Contribute to product planning and prioritization.
• Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure quality and market relevance of health insurance features.
• Work hands-on with product and engineering teams.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support marketing efforts with domain knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in health insurance.
• Experience in life and/or P&C insurance is a strong advantage.
• CII Certificate in Insurance is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of the full health insurance lifecycle.
• Proven ability to create clear documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
