Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant, Construction will assist with the execution of the Construction accounting activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient financial reporting for assigned installations.

In Short

• Support internal & external users of construction accounting data.
• Assist corporate and installation teams with financial information.
• Maintain communication with Installation Construction and Installation Directors.
• Ensure comprehension of accounting software for efficiency.
• Utilize software and spreadsheets for financial reports.
• Participate in installation operations with Program Leads.
• Work with Operations Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams.
• Foster a positive team environment.
• Review and evaluate construction financial documentation.
• Execute construction draw process and related transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably in Construction.
• Timberline accounting software experience preferred.
• Advanced spreadsheet and computer skills required in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and positive attitude required.
• Problem-solving skills through research and best practices.
