Overview

The Manager of Systems Engineering for Remote Sensing Programs at Northrop Grumman will oversee a team of engineers while also contributing to technical work on space programs. This role combines management responsibilities with hands-on engineering tasks.

• Manage a team of ~10 SEIT engineers
• Perform system engineering and integration & test work

• Maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Requirements

• BS in STEM + 8 years of relevant experience or MS + 6 years
• Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
• 2 years of experience leading an engineering team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering processes
• Experience with advanced sensor systems preferred
• Experience with Space Payloads or Space Vehicles preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement training programs
• Experience in performance management and employee engagement
