Overview

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for simulating patients for radiation treatment planning and providing radiation therapy as prescribed by the radiation oncologist, ensuring patient safety and treatment accuracy.

Requirements

• Board-eligible with board certification within 90 days of graduation.
• Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and oncology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical teams.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to handle adverse reactions to treatments.
• Experience in operating radiation therapy equipment.
• Ability to prepare treatment rooms and patient positioning.
