Overview

The Material Coordinator Resource is responsible for managing equipment, materials, and supplies in a healthcare environment, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that supplies are readily available.

• Perform inventory management duties for supplies and materials.
• Utilize computer-based inventory systems for daily functions.
• Coordinate delivery and stocking of products in various locations.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines during product delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and health system personnel.
• Participate in safety initiatives and training sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Fill in for other roles as needed within the hospital or distribution center.
• Report discrepancies and damaged products to the appropriate department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain or material management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred: CRT-HI-LO Certification.
