Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Quality Engineer will work within a complex product line of refrigeration condensing units, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide quality guidance and support for both new and existing products.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to provide quality guidance.
• Resolve product or process-related issues with customers.
• Facilitate problem-solving team meetings.
• Develop and optimize quality processes and systems.
• Generate customer quality plans to address issues.
• Collect and analyze data periodically.
• Present technical updates to teams and customers.
• Work with plant teams to resolve internal process issues.
• Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiar with statistical software like Minitab.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Team Center or Agile.
• Ability to travel domestically (up to 20%) and internationally (1-2 times/year).
• Experience in customer and supplier relations.
