Test Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Test Manager for our client in Switzerland.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for IT projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all testing activities within the company.
• Ensure quality assurance through effective testing processes and methods.
• Lead and support a team of testers and QA experts.
• Monitor and optimize test automation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, project leaders, and other stakeholders to optimize testing processes.
• Risk assessment and test coverage for critical IT systems.
• Select, introduce, and manage suitable testing tools.
• Report to management on testing progress, quality assurance, and risks.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in software testing, test management, and quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of testing methods and processes, test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Experience in leading and coordinating test teams.
• Understanding of agile development processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and teamwork ability.
• Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
