Overview

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at CookUnity is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.

In Short

• Architect, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS).
• Develop and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation scripts in Kotlin, Python, and Bash.
• Proactively monitor system performance and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with software engineers for improved deployment strategies.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for operational transparency.

Requirements

• 7+ years in SRE or related roles in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in managing AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Advanced English Level.
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployments.
• Strong development skills in Kotlin, Python, and Bash.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
