Vice President of Finance - Remote

Overview

The VP of Finance will serve as the company’s senior financial leader and strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, responsible for owning and scaling all financial operations, supporting rapid growth, and ensuring regulatory and investor readiness.

In Short

• Own companywide financial strategy and multi-year operating plan.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across all departments.
• Build unit economics and loss ratio modeling.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting to CEO and Board.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and financial statement accuracy.
• Prepare Board Decks and investor reporting packages.
• Own GWP and revenue tracking.
• Develop a high ownership, execution-first finance culture.
• Oversee data integrity and financial policy governance.
• Act as a partner to all departments for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles.
• Prior experience in SaaS, FinTech, InsurTech, or regulated financial services.
• Experience in FP&A, Accounting, Capital planning, Audit & Compliance.
• Must be highly hands-on and builder-minded.
• Data-driven with executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
