Overview

Control Risks is seeking a Protective Design Engineer to help our client advance its protective design program, including the development and application of their physical security standards for all new construction projects globally.

In Short

• Design a risk-based methodology for implementing protective security measures into the design of all new construction projects.
• Ensure that all protective design requirements and CPTED standards are integrated into the design.
• Work with internal stakeholders to implement the client’s physical security standards.
• Provide recommendations for security enhancements based on risk level.
• Develop playbook outlining security requirements for new construction.
• Concisely articulate the impact of identified risks to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in security risk management and protective design.
• Experience with new construction projects and project delivery processes.
• Ability to conduct security risk assessments.
• Experience in developing governance policies and SOPs.
• Strong communication skills for articulating risks and mitigation measures.
