Senior UI/UX Designer II - Remote

Overview

CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency.

In Short

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research and evaluation.
• Manage planning and design of multiple sites and applications.
• Conduct user research and analysis for usable web pages and interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to design intuitive solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps for design ideas.
• Develop scalable design resources for project collaboration.
• Must have a strong online portfolio showcasing design skills.
• 10+ years of professional design experience required.
• Experience with 508 compliance and USWDS standards.
• Mentoring experience with junior designers is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong UX design experience necessary.
• Expertise in user-centered design principles.
• Advanced coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience in creating data visualizations is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
