Senior Digital Forensic Analyst - Remote

Overview

A leading eDiscovery technology and consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Digital Forensic Analyst. This position involves both domestic and international travel for on-site collection efforts, and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

In Short

• Independently perform complex forensic data collections and analysis.
• Consult with legal teams/client IT departments to establish project scope.
• Maintain forensic tools and technologies.
• Work closely with project management on complex projects.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of procedures.
• Provide clients with accurate project estimates.
• Assist in process improvement and innovation.
• Perform quality control checks on work products.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
• Complete additional duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in forensic analysis.
• Experience using industry standard forensic tools.
• General understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems and mobile devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical clients.
• Must be willing to travel regularly on short notice.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Willingness to develop/train other team members.
