Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in Australian Public Practice to join our team and provide exceptional accounting services to our clients.

In Short

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice preferred.
• CA/CPA qualified with a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting practices and Australian Standards.
• Experience with MYOB AE, Excel, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right, and Xero.
• Knowledge of business and tax laws, including Division 7A Loan Reconciliation.
• Experience in completing Australian tax returns for various entities.
• Compile and analyze financial information for financial statements.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and provide insights for management.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice.
• CA/CPA qualification.
• Proficient in MYOB AE, Excel, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right, and Xero.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workflow effectively.
• Experience in tax return preparation for individuals and businesses.
• Knowledge of DEXT and FYI Docs is a plus.
