Overview

This part-time Bookkeeper role focuses on managing financial records, payroll, and compliance for an AU healthcare organization, allowing for work from home.

In Short

  • Reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero.
  • Prepare fortnightly payroll and ABA files for processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of superannuation obligations.
  • Monitor and report on outstanding invoices and payment follow-ups.
  • Prepare and summarise current payable items for approval.
  • Collaborate with the Accountant and CFO for compliance and reporting.
  • Respond to internal finance queries promptly.
  • Liaise with the Admin team to clarify discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial communications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
