Finance Officer (Business Consulting, WFH) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Finance Officer or accountant to manage our clients' financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Permanent Work From Home
• Conduct reviews and maintain clients' financial statements
• Examine invoices and reconcile bank statements
• Ensure data integrity in accounting systems
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns
• Manage client needs for audits
• Assist with accounting and internal audit duties
• 5+ years of accounting experience required
• Proficiency in accounting software is essential
• Excellent communication skills are a plus

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards
• Experience with sales and services tax/VAT preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle
• Experience with payroll is a plus
• Big four experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
