RAN Operations and Maintenance Engineer - Remote

Overview

The RAN Operations and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for deploying RAN methods, automation, implementation, acceptance testing, technical management, and risk control according to client requirements.

• Responsible for RAN deployment methods and automation.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and design RAN solutions.
• Validate sites for MHA/RET readiness.
• Conduct pre-transition checks and confirm MHA/RET status.
• Ensure no alarms are present on MHA/RET equipment.
• Provide administrative support for MHA/RET transitions.
• Update MHA/RET configurations for 4G/5G sites.
• Address issues arising from changes and clear alarms.
• Revert power to 3G if MHA/RET transition fails.
• Work remotely with field engineers in the UK.

Requirements

• Telecommunications Engineer or related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in RAN operations and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in RAN engineering.
• Fluent in English.
• Good knowledge of 3G/4G/5G radio access networks.
• Deep knowledge of RAN networks from Nokia/Huawei/Ericsson.
• Experience with MHA/RET configuration scripts.
• Experience in RAN configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
