Overview

The Associate Energy Policy Analyst will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services that address critical infrastructure resilience and security issues while supporting military missions and reducing environmental impacts.

In Short

  • Support energy/water resilience efforts by translating processes into implementable frameworks.
  • Research alternative energy procurement opportunities and emerging technologies.
  • Compile and analyze data on electricity and water usage.
  • Translate lessons learned into policies for improving energy resilience.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with senior Air Force clients.
  • Participate in both remote and in-person discussions.
  • Some travel required.
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, public policy, or related discipline.
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in federal installation, environmental, and energy issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Capacity to collaborate and work independently.
  • Must maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
