Mental Health Therapist - Remote

Overview

The Coverage and Coaching Team is responsible for delivering evidence-based therapy to patients with a variety of mental health and substance use needs across the Chicagoland area. This role will support all patients served at Compass Health Center, with a primary focus on our Under 18 programs.

In Short

• Interface with program directors to adapt to different styles at various sites.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy as needed.
• Mentor and train newly hired staff.
• Assess patients’ progress and need for higher levels of care.
• Coordinate with patients' outside providers.
• Chart patient progress appropriately.
• Complete administrative documentation requirements.
• Provide updates to the insurance utilization team.
• Complete discharge paperwork.
• Participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Experience with patients in crisis.
• Experience in PHP/IOP, residential, or inpatient settings.
• Experience with electronic health records and supporting software.
• Ability to commute to different sites.
• Licensure in multiple states preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 2+ years of clinical experience.
• Licenses or certifications: LPC, LSW, PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
• Excellent time management skills.
