Intake Therapist - Remote

Overview

Compass Health Center is seeking an Intake Therapist to guide patients in their first steps towards healing, providing support and expertise on compatible programs and resources.

In Short

• Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of program
• Interface with program directors during intake process
• Work with patients and families regarding appropriate referrals
• Screen potential intakes and answer questions
• Chart and communicate with utilization review department
• Facilitate group therapy and family therapy as needed
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist (required)
• Hold one of the following licenses: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LCPC (preferred)
• 1+ years clinical work experience post-Master’s (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge and experience utilizing CBT and DBT
• Experience with patients in crisis
