Social Media Manager - Remote

Overview

Commons is hiring a Social Media Manager to run our social presence - strategy, content, community, and performance - across every key social channel. You'll cultivate the Commons brand and audience and convert them into quality users for Commons’ sustainable fintech app.

In Short

• Full ownership of social media channels including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and Reddit.
• Create original content: writing, short-form video, graphics.
• Manage community engagement and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the CMO on brand partnerships and campaigns.
• Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and cultural moments.
• Build and manage monthly content calendars.
• Find and manage relationships with creators and collaborators.
• Keep Commons' brand voice consistent across channels.
• 3-5+ years of experience in social media for consumer brands.
• Ability to create engaging and relatable content.

Requirements

• Experience running social media for a consumer brand or startup.
• Portfolio of personally created content.
• Comfortable being on camera.
• Strong writing skills across multiple tones and platforms.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations.
• Strong opinions about good content.
• Familiarity with video editing tools.
• Experience working with influencers.
