In Short

• Design, build, and maintain software development framework and shared libraries for backend engineers.
• Implement customer-focused abstractions that simplify and standardize features.
• Responsible for performance, automation, and standardization of gRPC services.
• Learn and understand long-term needs of backend engineering infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical decisions with design justification.
• Communicate to gather requirements for backend development framework.
• Produce documentation and diagrams to communicate concepts.
• Manage and assist in resolution of technical problems and incidents.
• Support and maintain current infrastructure offerings.
• Develop strong relationships with the Infrastructure organization and partners.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern tech stack, like Go and gRPC.
• Experience building shared libraries and frameworks.
• Experience refactoring legacy codebases.
• Ability to maintain high quality standards and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis.
• Ability to balance business needs with technical solutions.
• Experience scaling backend infrastructure.
