Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Trading) - Remote

Overview

Coinbase is seeking experienced Frontend engineers to join our Trading team to build and scale the core systems that power crypto trading at Coinbase, contributing directly to Coinbase’s core business.

In Short

• Build engaging, dynamic, and intuitive interfaces for trading data visualization.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design for a best-in-class product experience.
• Translate ideas into high-value trading features for customers.
• 2+ years of experience in developing web and/or mobile apps.
• Experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with product and design lifecycles.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Proactive and growth-minded attitude.
• Experience launching products from 0 to 1 is a plus.
• Crypto-forward experience is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in web/mobile app development.
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with component-based UI frameworks.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience optimizing application performance.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and/or Relay is a plus.
• Experience in high-availability financial systems is a plus.
• Active trading experience in crypto or financial instruments is a plus.
