Software Engineer (VS Code Contractor) - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer contractor will focus on enhancing the developer experience by contributing to the VS Code extension, working on feature development, extension architecture, and usability.

• Contribute to the development of the VS Code extension.
• Write clear documentation for the extension.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-stack experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with Go and shell scripting.
• OSS presence on platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
• Familiarity with various operating systems.
• Understanding of IP, TCP, TLS, SSH, & HTTP.
• Experience in maintaining open-source libraries/plugins.
• Located in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, or Poland.
