Senior FP&A Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in shaping Coast Energy’s financial strategy by developing and maintaining robust corporate financial models and delivering high-impact analysis to support executive decision-making.

In Short

• Build and maintain integrated financial models for corporate financial statements.
• Develop and enhance the company’s corporate forecast on a rolling 3–5 year basis.
• Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actuals to forecast and budget.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for board meetings and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with accounting and business unit leaders to improve data integrity.
• Drive process improvements across forecasting and reporting.
• Support capital planning efforts by ensuring accurate forecasts.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
• Promote financial awareness and accountability across the organization.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis.
• Experience in solar energy, project finance, or commercial real estate.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Hands-on accounting knowledge sufficient to analyze GAAP financials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Track record of leading annual budgeting processes.
• Prior exposure to multi-entity financial planning.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or CFA is a plus.
