Overview

The Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS) will be responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale AWS landing zones, ensuring best practices in cloud transformations.

In Short

• Lead complex cloud transformations using AWS.
• Design and build enterprise-scale AWS landing zones.
• Automate AWS services and platforms using Terraform.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
• Ensure cloud security and risk mitigation.
• Package services into AMIs, Docker containers, or Serverless deployments.
• Champion modularisation and structure of IaC.
• Utilise techniques for zero downtime deployments.
• Work in a hybrid model with 3 days onsite in London.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of AWS landing zones.
• Experience with Terraform for automation.
• Ability to pass SC clearance.
• Strong understanding of cloud security models.
• Experience in designing multi-tenant systems.
• Knowledge of Docker and serverless architectures.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in site reliability engineering.
• UK-based candidates only.
