Project Officer - Higher Education Initiative - Remote

Overview

The Project Officer will support the efficient and effective implementation of the EIT HEI Initiative-related activities at Climate KIC, contributing to the enhancement of innovation and entrepreneurial capacity in higher education institutions across Europe.

In Short

• Act as the primary contact for EIT HEI Initiative-funded projects.
• Monitor project progress regarding timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage project performance reporting on key performance indicators.
• Support project teams in planning and managing activities.
• Assist in organizing online and in-person activities.
• Participate in cross-KIC taskforces on EIT HEI management.
• Produce project documents and reports.
• Nurture connections between HEI Initiative projects and Climate KIC Clusters.
• Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Provide flexibility to accommodate different working patterns.

Requirements

• University degree or 3 years of project management experience.
• 3-5 years of experience managing complex international projects.
• Experience in handling stakeholder relationships.
• Proven project management skills and event organization experience.
• Experience in digitalizing project processes.
• Strong written communication skills.
• (Optional) Experience in Higher Education or Entrepreneurship.
