Overview

The Contractor Operations Lead will play a key role in stabilizing contractor operations for the People Team. Initially, the focus will be on streamlining and optimizing contractor processes. Once stabilized, this role will maintain these operations and oversee the onboarding process for both full-time and contractor employees.

In Short

  • Act as the main contact for contractor operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
  • Design and implement a consistent and efficient contractor procurement process that aligns with company goals and supports smooth hiring.
  • Evaluate and improve the current contractor hiring workflow to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with hiring managers to assess contractor needs, ensuring timely and effective engagements.
  • Manage the contractor orientation process, ensuring all contractors are introduced to company culture, tools, and policies.
  • Continuously assess and refine the contractor onboarding experience to enhance efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all contractor-related hiring documents (e.g., contracts, confidentiality agreements) are accurately completed and properly stored.
  • Provide hiring managers with the tools, guidance, and resources needed to manage contractor hiring and performance effectively.
  • Establish and promote best practices for contractor management across the organization.
  • Develop and implement a performance review system for contractors, ensuring they receive feedback and have opportunities for growth.
  • Design and execute a structured contractor offboarding process.
  • Review and approve contractor-related expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and contract terms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations or a related field.
  • Proficiency with HRIS tools, such as Workday.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing operational workflows is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
