Overview

The Penny Hoarder is seeking a Senior Media Buyer with deep expertise in paid search and a strong foundation in performance and affiliate marketing. This role will be responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar budget, optimizing for both revenue and profit, and driving strategic experimentation across creative, copy, and landing pages to improve down-funnel performance.

In Short

  • Own and manage a $12M+ annual paid search budget.
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale performance across paid search.
  • Design and run A/B and multivariate tests across ad copy and landing pages.
  • Evaluate performance across the full marketing funnel.
  • Collaborate with affiliate and editorial teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and deliver actionable reporting.
  • Stay current on platform updates and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in performance-focused digital media buying.
  • Proven success managing large-scale budgets ($10M+/year).
  • Deep understanding of affiliate marketing models and lead generation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in landing page optimization.
  • Experience optimizing toward down-funnel quality metrics.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and marketing platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
