Part-Time Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Remote

Overview

In this integral part-time position, you will conduct home visits within healthcare settings such as adult family homes and assisted living facilities, meeting with clients who are typically discharged from state hospitals or residing in these settings, often with complex or difficult behaviors to manage.

In Short

• Conduct home visits and provide medical assessments.
• Support the psychiatric prescriber’s treatment plan.
• Complete medication reviews and establish client care priorities.
• Link clients to medical providers and follow up on prescriptions.
• Provide in-service training to staff on medical and psychiatric issues.
• Work part-time with flexible daytime/evening schedule.
• Occasional evening and weekend work.
• On-call 1-4 times a year.
• 20 hours a week, with 60% community work and 40% remote.

Requirements

• Washington RN license with courses in psychiatric nursing.
• 1+ years experience with psychiatric client populations.
• Intermediate PC skills and strong clinical/communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the county to see patients.
• Pass state and federal background checks.
