Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Civica, you will play a crucial role in the SaaS transformation, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the cloud platform that supports our education, health, and government products.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud environments.
• Drive automation with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and measure reliability metrics with SLIs/SLOs.
• Lead incident response and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices in reliability.
• Collaborate with the Security team to secure the stack.

Requirements

• Experience in a production SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure role.
• Expertise in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong coding/scripting skills in languages like Go, .NET, Java, Python.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and container orchestration.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
