Senior e-Trading Engineer - VP - Remote

Overview

The Senior e-Trading Engineer, VP is responsible for establishing and implementing application systems and programs, leading applications systems analysis and programming activities in the Cash Equities Technology team.

In Short

• Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Design and develop low latency, high throughput Java applications.
• Implement scalable solutions for real-time order handling.
• Develop and maintain integration with the FIX protocol.
• Partner with traders and business analysts for mission-critical solutions.
• Create robust test coverage using Cucumber.
• Contribute to system architecture and performance improvements.
• Work with DevOps teams for operational stability.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools for productivity.
• Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Experience in low latency, high throughput system design.
• Strong knowledge of Equities trading systems and the FIX protocol.
• Proficient in Linux development, Shell scripting, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDEA and Visual Studio Code.
• Knowledge of Gradle, Maven, and automated build processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Artifactory and GitHub.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and memory management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
