Python & Spark Developer - Remote

Overview

The Python & Spark Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

In Short

• Participate in applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts.
• Consult with users and recommend programming solutions.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop and manage large-scale data processing systems.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
• Strong expertise in data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Expertise in SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
