Officer, Equity Settlement - Remote

Overview

The Officer, Equity Settlement role is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services for trades reconciliation/settlement and share transfer related process. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities transactions.

In Short

• Provide operations support for Trade Settlement, Shares Transfer / Scrip Conversion, and Equity Linked Notes settlement.
• Perform investigation/reconciliation for positions holdings and internal Bank accounts.
• Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution.
• Identify and resolve securities settlement issues and make process improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Participate in UAT testing and contribute to project/process enhancements.
• Work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Degree Holder or Diploma in Business Administration, Banking & Finance.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the securities field preferred.
• Willing to work as a team, including overtime or on weekends/public holidays.

• Knowledge of Trade settlements, Equity Linked Notes, Shares Transfer / Scrip Conversions.
• Ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects.
• Strong judgment and discretion in resolving complex issues.
