Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.

In Short

• Contribute to the estimation of risk capital and management reports.
• Assist in the analysis of Citi’s financial performance.
• Aid in the annual planning and forecasting processes.
• Analyze key management review presentations.
• Participate in time-critical activities for Financial Planning and Analysis Teams.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance.
• Manage forecast processes and product dynamics.
• Prepare financial reports and insights for senior management.
• Build relationships across finance and business organizations.
• Drive FP&A transformation efforts for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Knowledge of financial and analytical tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Interpersonal skills to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to think strategically and manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated with an initiative to drive change.
