Overview

The Counterparty Credit Underwriter supports and works on coverage of a global portfolio of sophisticated Institutional Family Office (IFO) clients within Citi Wealth, focusing on underwriting and managing credit risk.

In Short

• Support underwriting of credit for Institutional Family Office clients.
• Manage a global portfolio of Private Bank credit relationships.
• Implement the Credit Risk Framework for IFOs.
• Conduct due diligence meetings to assess risk profiles.
• Negotiate credit-related terms in various lending documentation.
• Prepare and review credit applications and packages.
• Conduct financial analysis including balance sheets and cash flows.
• Ensure annual re-underwriting of facilities.
• Interact with clients and various internal teams.
• Provide guidance to underwriting colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in Hedge fund credit or related fields.
• Knowledge of hedge fund, family office, and private equity structures.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and securities based lending products.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good risk and business judgment.
• University degree in Business, Finance or Economics is preferred.
