Overview

The Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications. The primary goal is to drive successful project outcomes by conducting thorough analysis.

In Short

• Perform process analysis and design solutions in response to client or operational needs.
• Deliver business requirements, prepare testing plans and execute/oversee testing.
• Co-operate closely with business stakeholders and technology partners.
• Take proactive actions to minimize and mitigate project risks.
• Challenge the status quo and display initiative in coming up with solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis of operational problems.
• Manage client and business ad-hoc queries and requirements.
• Contribute to project plans assessing resource requirements and timescales.
• Display involvement in department initiatives and strategic planning.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst is required.

Requirements

• Fund Services experience is helpful.
• Experience working with asset management clients.
• Sound understanding of financial markets.
• Experience working in project teams is desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Visio, PowerBI, and SQL is a definite asset.
• Excellent organization and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS applications.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales.
