Applications Development Programmer Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

In Short

• Participate in application systems analysis and programming activities.
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts.
• Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
• Conduct testing and debugging, utilizing script tools.
• Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems and procedures.
• Assess risk when making business decisions.
• Consult with users and clients on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of working experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in Microservice Development, Kafka, Elastic Search, Angular is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Ability to exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
