Manager, Finance - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Manager to join our Finance Business Partnership team at Chime! In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing and shaping our business, financial strategy, and executing against high-impact and cross-functional initiatives. As a manager, you have both strong attention to detail and the ability to consider the big picture to drive strategic recommendations and influence business partners. You have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

In Short

• Own the Finance relationship with the Risk and Tech organization.
• Provide trusted financial advice on day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
• Deliver comprehensive financial planning with high forecast accuracy.
• Drive strategic decision-making through advanced financial modeling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Partner with Risk leaders on fraud loss projections.
• Manage operational budget with Tech leaders.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of finance/FP&A experience.
• 1-2 years managing at least one direct report.
• Ability to improve existing processes in high-growth environments.
• Hands-on approach with eagerness for detailed analysis.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Strong technical capabilities including expertise in Excel.
• Prior experience with forecasting loss reserves at a FinTech preferred.
