Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Financial Analyst to build out the R&D Business Partnership function at Chime! As a finance team member, you will have a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy and executing several high-impact cross-functional initiatives at the company.

In Short

• Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for Engineering, Data, Product, and Finance leadership.
• Analyze, optimize, and improve cloud cost forecasting accuracy.
• Manage, forecast, and support decision analysis for operating expense spend.
• Collaborate on headcount planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights to facilitate decision making.
• Facilitate deal negotiations with vendors through financial analysis.
• Implement new systems and processes for the finance function.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of accounting, finance/FP&A, investment banking, or consulting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
• Superior communication skills and collaboration ability.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality.
• Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage time with multiple priorities.
• Expert-level financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
