Overview

This position will be responsible for the coordination and management of all aspects of the Dallas Stars Tournament Series and other amateur sporting events to be hosted in the Children’s Health StarCenter facilities, Comerica Center as well as other partnered facilities in the Southwest region and throughout the United States.

In Short

  • Coordinate and oversee tournament and event logistics
  • Set-up, operations, and tear down of tournament series and related events
  • Price, order, and distribute items required for the tournament series
  • Assist with event expense tracking and invoices
  • Develop ideas for promotions across digital platforms
  • Manage exterior communication via marketing channels
  • Be present at all Tournament Committee and required meetings

Requirements

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in event planning or project coordination
  • Experience with social media and website content preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to work unsupervised at various times
