Overview

Child & Family Focus, Inc. is seeking a Prevention Specialist for their Drug and Alcohol Prevention Education Program (PEP) in Delaware County, PA. This position focuses on evidence-based prevention programming for young people and their families.

In Short

• Deliver evidence-based prevention programs to youth and families.
• Conduct programs in various settings, including schools and community organizations.
• Maintain documentation related to programming and participant engagement.
• Develop materials using Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Assist in outreach and marketing of programs.

• Meet productivity goals set by the Delaware County Department of Human Services.

• Stay updated on trends in drug and alcohol prevention.
• Implement Trauma-Informed Care principles in all practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Psychology, or related field.
• One or more years of experience in prevention education or health education.
